With the preseason set to kick off Sunday, we’re all eager to get to know some of the NFL teams that are set to compete in this year’s All-Star game.
And if you haven’t already figured it out, we’ve compiled a quick guide to the league’s best squads.
This is the full roster of teams that will be playing this year, with the teams who will be vying for the championship.
Let’s take a look at the players, coaches and other stars who are set for the festivities.1.
New York Giants (2-0)The Giants, who are just two wins away from making it to Super Bowl LI, have the easiest schedule to figure out, but it’s the schedule that really matters.
They’ll host the Patriots in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday, and the rest of the way they’ll have to face off against the Patriots twice before facing off against Green Bay.
The Giants will have plenty of chances to get some of their best players on the field during that game, and they should be able to take advantage of it.2.
Philadelphia Eagles (3-0-1)The Eagles are a solid team, and it’s no surprise that they’ve been in the running for the AFC West’s No. 1 seed.
They’re also the only team who can beat the Patriots, and a win there would guarantee them the No. 2 seed.
That would make them a lock to be in the playoffs, and that would make the Eagles a perfect fit for the NFL All-Stars.3.
Atlanta Falcons (4-0)- The Falcons have the best offense in the NFL, but they also have one of the worst defenses.
The Falcons won’t have a lot of time to work on their defensive line, but that doesn’t mean they’ll lack any weapons.
They have Julio Jones, who will likely get plenty of touches, as well as rookie D’Qwell Jackson, who could provide a big boost in the passing game.
They also have a talented secondary, with Jalen Collins and Desmond Trufant returning to help cover for a porous front seven.4.
Dallas Cowboys (3)-The Cowboys have the toughest schedule to beat, but if they play well, they could take a leap forward into the postseason.
The Cowboys have one win against the Steelers in the preseason, and have also won three of their past four games, including a blowout win over the Broncos.5.
Tennessee Titans (2)- The Titans are coming off their first win in the regular season since 2011.
They’ve looked great during their first two games, but have lost three straight and sit atop the AFC South with a game in hand over the Colts.
The Titans should be in great shape heading into the regular-season finale, but a loss would hurt them even more.6.
Indianapolis Colts (3)- The Colts are coming into the preseason with a lot to prove, but their offense has been so good that they could make the playoffs.
The offense is the reason they’ve had four consecutive winning seasons, and if they can score points, they’ll be a dangerous team in the postseason too.7.
Green Bay Packers (2)- The Packers have a difficult schedule, but the Packers should have a good chance to get their first winning season in nearly a decade.
The Packers will face the Colts twice in the final two weeks of the regular campaign, and will get plenty more opportunities to work with Jordy Nelson and Aaron Rodgers.8.
Miami Dolphins (1)- Miami has been very consistent this preseason, but its not easy to see how they’ll compete in the AFC East.
The Dolphins are tied for the worst record in the league with their NFC South rivals, and Miami will have to play a lot harder than other teams to get in the playoff picture.9.
Carolina Panthers (2-) The Panthers have been solid this preseason.
They haven’t played very well yet, but Cam Newton is back and he should lead the team to a winning record.10.
New Orleans Saints (2)*- The Saints are the only undefeated team in their division, and coach Sean Payton has said that he wants his team to make the playoff.
If they do, it will be by far their toughest road test yet.11.
Cincinnati Bengals (2*)- The Bengals are the top seed in the Eastern Conference.
That’s not going to change in the first round, and this will be a tough road test for the Bengals.12.
Buffalo Bills (1*)-The Bills are one win away from the AFC North title.
The Bills are in great position heading into this season, but another win could be enough for them to get there.13.
Tennessee Vikings (2*)- The Vikings are the No.
« Team of the Week » in Week 2.
That might sound good on paper, but there are only three teams in the division that have beaten the Vikings in the season opener.
The rest of those teams are all tied for last place in the
